Welcome to our web site. In this section, we hope to answer any questions you might have regarding Covenant Fellowship. If you would like, you could refer to our official church "vision statement" which describes our ministry pretty thoroughly. Otherwise, keep on scrolling!

Covenant Fellowship is a church, a Christian church, made up of folk who seek together to be followers of Jesus Christ, and who seek to bear witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is but one of many Christian churches in the Greensboro area which in total offer a diversity of ways of "doing church." We are thankful for this diversity, even as we approach ministry in a somewhat distinctive way.

Some of the words or phrases which come to mind to describe our ministry approach are organizational simplicity, small group communities, participative worship, intergenerational worship, and relational rather than program orientation.

This ministry philosophy or approach is designed to help us do two things which are hard to do at the same time – experience real, genuine, and biblical Christian community, while having the time and energy to follow Christ where we are "out there" in the world and community around us.

In order to promote community when we are together, we have a somewhat unique Sunday worship format that helps cultivate a love and care for one another. Weekly small groups also contribute to community building.

As far as what we believe, we are committed to the authority of Scripture, to the historic creeds of the Christian Church, and to protestant reformational disctinctives.

We are affiliatied with Associated Reformed Presbyterian denomination, itself committed to the authority of Scripture, church planting, and world missions.
